Have my candidates consented to being recontacted via WhatsApp?
Yes. Consent is collected by the recruiter when the candidate registers in their ATS. WAAS acts as an execution channel, as a GDPR processor with a DPA provided. Legal responsibility for the processing stays with you; we are the tool.
Does WAAS integrate with my ATS?
WAAS syncs candidates and jobs with your ATS in real time via API. The exact list of natively supported ATS evolves; a custom connector can be built for most ATS on the market.
How long does it take to set up WAAS?
Initial onboarding takes a few days. You configure the tone, qualification questions, and positive or negative outcomes via editable prompts.
Does WAAS replace recruiters?
No. WAAS pre-qualifies so you only handle the best profiles. The recruiter keeps full control over what the bot says and takes over the conversation as soon as a candidate is qualified.
How does WAAS avoid WhatsApp bans?
WAAS uses the official WhatsApp Business API via Unipile. Sends are rate-limited per hour and per 15 minutes, timing is randomized. No ban observed among our clients to date.
What is the difference between WAAS and a mass message blast?
WAAS is not a broadcast tool. It is a conversational agent: it listens, replies, asks qualification questions, and adapts the conversation to the candidate's answers. Where a mass email generates a 1 to 5% reply rate, WhatsApp reaches a 40 to 60% response rate, with personalized exchanges at scale.
Which languages does WAAS converse in?
FR, NL and EN at minimum, with automatic adaptation to the candidate's profile.
What happens if a candidate sends a voice message?
WAAS automatically transcribes the voice note and replies in context. No candidate is left without a response.
